Software RemChem

Software for the assessment and management of workers risks during remediation activities
Author: Iason Verginelli (developed within a BRIC INAIL project)

The software was developed as part of the INAIL BRIC project aimed at defining and developing an harmonized operating procedure for the assessment and management of workers risks during remediation activities. The tool can be used to perform a preliminary risk assessment based on the site's characteristic parameters, the type of intervention and the source of contamination involved. The software implements the ASTM (E2081-00) models for the application of the risk analysis to contaminated sites and the U.S.EPA (AP-42) models for the activities related to the excavation of soil.
